Got Teeth !

So this past weekend Sportys dad came to pick him up for one of their boys nights out. I am pretty proud of his dad because after many years of simply being a bump on a log, he is finally becoming one with being a real daddy. He is in constant contact with Sporty on a daily basis, whether through myspace, phone calls or texting. I am happy after many years of telling him that he is missing out on an amazing kid, that he is now realizing how lucky we are that God gave him to us. Even though we were both too young and immature to have a baby. We got the best pick!

Anyway, He comes over friday and while we are sitting in the livingroom waiting for Sporty to get Spiffy, I swear this kid is a little too into his looks. He came out at least 5 times to ask if he looked out, to the point I yelled at him, "DUDE, your going out in the dark (it was about 6:30pm) you are going to sit in a dark theatre for 2+ hours then you are going to an arcade! No one will notice that your blacks are two different colored blacks!!!!!"
Sports dad and I started talking about his grade and his behavoir, to which I have no real complaints he is in the 86% in school and he is always home by curfew. I did however ask his dad to speak to him about his attitude ( which I know at 12 y/o it is only normal). I said that Sports attitude and the way he talks to his brother, me and hubby sometimes makes me want to knock his head through a wall.
To this Sports dad replies -with an attitude himself I might add - well what do you expect he has OUR ATTITUDES!!!!!
I glared at him and said, "Fuck that, it happens again and he will have NONE OF OUT TEETH!!!!

So I am having a Girl

The last few days has been filled with tears and screams of joy.... not all coming from me. I have taking to looking at little girls around me oh so differently.
And I have noticed the following...

They whine and screech A LOT
They think they are just too cute for almost everything
They are sassy
They are insistent
They drive their mothers CRAZY
They are MOUTHY

And I have come to the following conclusions.

One of two things will happen

1. She will get her teeth knocked out the first time she gets too big for her britches. That gives her two shots at getting it right, once while she is young and the last chance when her adult teeth come in. If she is a hard study she won't get new teeth until she is old enough to get a good job with benefits and a good Dental Plan.

Or...

2. I give her a few years in public (2-4) depending on her of course. If all doesn't work out well she will become one with the house. People will ask me as I am walking down the street Hey Sasha, didn't you have a daughter after that little one their (pointing to Yum Yum) and I'll reply Yeah sure did! Stop by the house I'll let you peering in to the window!

I Tripped Upstairs And Landed In Bangcock!

So I was minding my own business walking up the stairs on 42nd Street, this woman was pulling half dragging her son up the stairs in a race to get to the 7 train. I was drinking my Lite Ice Venti Extra Vanilla Cafe Latte ( yeah I'm one of those), when the little kid tripped causing me to step up and over (skipping a step) I tripped up 2-3 stairs and headbutted a large mans belt buckle!!!.
I tried to reach for something to break my fall, BUT there was nothing!
My forehead hit him smack dab on a big ass buckle.

My first thought, what is he from Texas. OMG! Do I have the Texas meadow map imprinted on my forehead! And DAMN my neck hurt.

I step back to face my embarrassment head on, only to see that the big man is trying his darnedest to stop from laughing so hard. I stood up a bit to untangle my hair from his buckle as quickly as I could, mumbled a I'm sorry and sped away ASAP.
